Privacy Policy

01

Data Controller

K-garoo Works, an individual business registered in the Republic of Korea, is the controller of personal information processed directly for Walltank. Business and privacy-officer details appear at the end of this Policy.

02

Information Kept Only on Your Device

K-garoo Works operates Walltank. Aquarium preferences, language and unsent feedback drafts stay on your device. The app does not require an account. We do not collect your screen contents, cursor history, personal files or payment card details.

03

Information We Process

When you press Send, we receive your message, optional reply email and limited diagnostics: app/OS version, platform, language, selected scene, frame rate, display count and playback/purchase status. We use these only to answer requests and diagnose issues. Do not include passwords or sensitive information. You can use the aquarium without sending feedback.

04

Purposes and Legal Bases

We use information to deliver requested support, diagnose faults, verify purchase access on the device and protect the service. Depending on applicable law, processing relies on performing a contract, your consent, legitimate security interests or legal duties. Optional feedback is not required to use the aquarium; you may withdraw consent for future optional processing.

05

Retention Periods

Delivery IDs, content hashes and rate-limit records are deleted from our database after 7 days. Support email and reply history are kept only as needed, normally no longer than 3 years after closure, unless an unresolved dispute or law requires longer retention. Local preferences and drafts remain until you clear the app's data. Provider security logs and backups follow their retention cycles; restricted legal records are used only for that purpose.

06

Deletion and Destruction

When information is no longer required, we delete it from active databases and object storage, expire access tokens, and remove or overwrite backups through the applicable backup cycle. Electronic files are deleted using methods that make ordinary recovery impracticable. Paper records, if any, are shredded or securely destroyed.

Information that must be retained by law is separated or access-restricted and used only for the retention purpose.

07

Processors and Service Providers

Cloudflare, Inc. provides hosting, DNS, encrypted delivery, security, the feedback API, database and email routing. It processes network information, including IP addresses, and submitted feedback. Google LLC provides our Gmail support mailbox and processes messages, optional reply addresses, diagnostics and correspondence. These providers may process information in the United States and other service locations. Contact the officer below about international processing or available safeguards; choosing not to send feedback avoids that support transfer.

08

International Transfers

Because Walltank serves users globally and uses international providers, information may be processed outside the Republic of Korea. Transfers occur through encrypted network connections when you use the relevant feature or when the provider sends transaction information to us.

09

Store and Payment Provider Relationships

Apple and Microsoft process store accounts, payments, refunds and purchase verification under their own privacy policies. Walltank reads the entitlement needed to unlock the app; we do not receive full payment-card details. Optional K-garoo Radio requests its catalog, artwork and audio from Wallpets media services; network providers receive ordinary request information such as an IP address. You can leave radio off. External Creator and Wallpets links follow those sites' policies.

10

Cookies and Similar Technologies

This site stores your chosen language in a first-party cookie for up to one year and in browser local storage until cleared. It uses no advertising trackers or behavioral profiling. Browser controls can erase or block these preferences; language selection may then reset. No automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made about you.

11

Disclosure and Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only to the providers described above, at your direction, to complete a transaction, to protect the Service or legal rights, in connection with a lawful business transfer, or when required by law.

12

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may request access, confirmation, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Korean users and their legal representatives may exercise the rights provided by the Personal Information Protection Act.

13

Children's Privacy

Walltank is a general-audience desktop app and does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 14, or under the applicable local consent age, without the required guardian involvement. A guardian may contact us to request review or deletion. Do not include children's sensitive information in feedback.

If you believe a child provided personal information without required guardian involvement, contact us so we can review and delete it or take other legally required action.

14

Security

We use HTTPS, restricted administrative access, limited diagnostic fields, request-size limits and anti-abuse controls. Messages are not published, and credentials or payment details should never be included. Rights requests may require proportionate identity verification; contact support@walltank.app with your feedback ID or approximate contact date. You can request access, correction, deletion or other rights available under your local law.

No transmission or storage system is completely secure. If a legally reportable breach occurs, we will investigate, mitigate, document, and notify affected people and authorities as required by applicable law.

15

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy when the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version with a new date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required. Previous versions may be retained for reference.

16

Language, Complaints, and Contact

The English version is the controlling version to the extent permitted by applicable law. Translations are provided for convenience, and mandatory local-language privacy notices prevail where required.

Privacy questions, rights requests, or complaints may be sent to the Privacy and Security Officer below. You may also lodge a complaint with the privacy or consumer authority that has jurisdiction over you.
